Watermelon Mint Tea with Thirsty Buddha Coconut Water

Lately, I’ve been using an amazing app called Bunz to trade items online with other people in the Toronto area. I received this amazing peppermint plant in a trade, and my first order of business with the leaves was to make some tea!

I already had some Watermelon Iced Tea on hand, and I also had a bottle of this Thirsty Buddha Coconut Water that I received for editorial purposes! I thought that the combo of coconut water would give the tea a little more sweetness without needing to add sugar – and I was right! I added some mint leaves at the bottom of my glass for an extra minty flavour – yum!

Watermelon Mint Iced Tea with Coconut Water

  • Print

  • 1-2 Mint Leaves per cup
  • Your favourite tea (Watermelon was great, chocolate would be great too!)
  • Coconut Water of your choice (I used Thirsty Buddha)
  1. Make Iced Tea based on the directions on the packaging.
  2. Rinse and place mint leaves in the bottom of the glass
  3. Add ice, poor iced tea in glass until about half full
  4. Top off with coconut water
  5. Optionally, you could add a shot of gin!

  • I’m sitting here munching on a bowl of watermelon thinking this tea looks really good.

    I should drink it.

  • I’ll leave out the gin, this tea sounds very interesting. Watermelon would be great, chocolate sounds interesting.

  • The combo of flavors sounds perfectly refreshing for this season. Watermelon is a nice light flavor.

  • I’m learning to drink tea so this sounds good! Mint and watermelon are two of my favorite things! Not sure about the coconut water though it kind of tastes like sweat lol.

  • I keep hearing that coconut water is so good for you. Its a good idea to mix it with tea, I don’t know if I could drink it alone.

  • Yum!! This sounds like the ultimate refreshing drink. Great post idea for watermelon day too:-)
