Easy Marbled Wine Glasses With Emiliana Wine

Can I officially say it’s patio season here in Toronto? This weekend was two days of beautiful weather, which means many of the bars had their patios open for the day! It was also exciting to see the Rogers Centre dome open (for what, I’m not sure since the Jays home open is Tuesday), promising an exciting return to baseball season!

From our balcony, we have a great view of the city, so it’s definitely a place we will be spending more time at this summer! I’ve been thinking about dinner and drinks out there in the beautiful weather, and as I was thinking about the Emiliana Wine that was sent to me, I wanted to have a glass out on the patio! I also was thinking about how my wine glasses are terribly boring and I wanted to create something cool for Easter!

You may have seen my Easy DIY Marbled Ceramics video DIY a few weeks back. I used the same tutorial, except I used clear wine glasses instead! I wanted to use pastel colours for easter, and while I didn’t have that pale yellow that reminds me a lot of Easter, I loved the colour combo of the light pink with the turquoise!

I was sent the Emiliana, Adobe Sauvignon Blanc, which I had with my lunch today! Rowan and I made sushi (see my Instagram for more!), which is a great pairing for this particular wine, so it worked out beautifully for us! It’s generally a great wine for seafood, especially lighter fish prepared with lemon. It’s citrusy and fresh, so the perfect one for a beautiful, mid-day drink!

What kind of wine will you be drinking this summer? Have you hit the patios yet?

  • These glasses turned out so pretty! I’m definitely more of a red wine person, but these would be great to use for a white sangria during the summer so you can still see the pretty glass!
